What every professional completes

Identity verification
Identity is verified through Didit, our verification provider, before an account can accept a shift.
Credentials reviewed by our team
The credentials a role requires are reviewed and approved by a person here, and must not be expired. Not a checkbox on a form.
Payroll details and a TFN declaration
Completed before the first shift, so the pay run your clinic approves is ready to report correctly to the ATO.
Reliability on the record
Completed shifts, timesheet accuracy and no-shows are recorded, and you can read reviews from other clinics before you book.

Dental Assistant

At least one

Oral Health Therapist

Running shifts through Cover means handing over tax file numbers, bank details and payroll records, and trusting the award is applied correctly. Here is how each of those is held and met.

Award rates, applied for you

Penalty rates, public holidays and overtime come straight from the Health Professionals and Support Services Award (MA000027). Cover won't let a shift be posted below the minimum for that role and day.

The database, file storage and payroll all run in Australia, and Single Touch Payroll is lodged here. Nothing about your pay run leaves the country.

Encrypted where it matters

TLS in transit and encryption at rest, with field-level AES-256-GCM on tax file numbers, bank account numbers and clinic sign-in codes. Each clinic's data is separated in both the application and the database.
